When I was younger I was enthusiastic about a series of books called 'The Chalet School' by Elinor M. Brent-Dyer, which occurs in the beautiful mountains of the Austrian Tyrol.
My love of these books is great that I persuaded my loved ones to take a summer vacation in the lakeside hamlet where it had been set. So imagine my delight when I learned that today's wedding between Marianne and Christian happened on the shores of the Achensee, a location full of happy memories for me personally. Marianne's selection of gowns would be simple wedding dresses, the epitome of sophistication and magnificence. What do you think of the draped neck and figure-hugging silhouette, as well as the sumptuous train?

"We met through friends of friends in Sydney. However Christian was residing in London and I was in Sydney. Our romance started as a holiday romance whenever we spent per week sailing around Corsica having a group of six friends. When I went to live in London six approximately years later we reconnected and also the rest is history."
After the ceremony, the newlyweds, as well as their guests, celebrated with drinks and a wedding cake outside. They commissioned a tiered naked wedding cake decorated with fruits from Astrid. Oh my, doesn't it look delicious?
