For the 2023 Nike Air Force 1 Valentine’s Day release, the Swoosh has decked out a tumbled white leather upper with high-gloss love-heart-red patent leather overlays, with hot pinks dressing the special tongue detail and plastic side Swooshes. The latter features a cluster of heart-shaped details that truly captures the season of love, with color-matched Nike Air branding in the back, and a simple white sole unit sitting underfoot to complete the design.Love is definitely in the Air — and for Nike, they’re taking that literally with their most iconic sneaker once again dressing in loved-up duds for February.
Air Max 270, Nike is set to add two of its most iconic silhouettes, the Air Force 1 Low and Blazer Mid, to its “Classics” pack for Spring 2023 in reference to retro records and mixtapes.With recent releases like the “Bronx Origins” Air Force 1, the “Mix CD” Foamposite Ones, and the “Cleveland Rocks” Blazer Mid, the Swoosh has begun to recognize the role it’s played in the music scene. Furthering that acknowledgment, Nike will be preparing a special collection dubbed “Nike Classics,” which feature direct callouts to records and mixtapes of yesteryear.
The Nike Air Force 1 Low “Classics” is now introduced as it’s a unique iteration which nods to records and mixtapes.the shoes arrive in white leather uppers with lateral Swooshes and heel tabs appearing in a grey distressed finish and black paint splatters, potentially in reference to Platinum records and parental advisory-inspired labels which are found on the insoles. Cassette tape Nike banners decorate the tongue tabs and the Air Force 1 features additional gold mic-shaped charms. Rounding out the look for the Blazers are its signature exposed foam tongue tags and grey sole units while the AF1s are finished in cream midsoles and dark grey rubber outsoles with gold and silver pucks on the bottoms.
