When your kids are born, they do not only have to grow up with worldly responsibilities, but they also have to learn their religion and it is one of the most important things to do for your kids.
You have to tell them how they need to learn their religion and how they need to follow it, and this should be the basic job of every single parent; to teach their kids their religion.
In this article, we will help you to know how you can introduce your religion Islam to your kids and how you can make them stay strong with it.
Start from the basic
One thing that you need to understand is that you need to help them with the basics first and then you will be able to teach them the hard parts of it.
For example, if you teach them Quran, you need to start from Noorani Qaida for kids and then go to the next Parahs and not just start from the difficult part.
Tell them the basics of Islam, tell them that they need to offer prayers 5 times a day, then ask them to recite some part of The Holy Quran every day.
When you will start from the basics you will not have to work too hard because they will have a lot of understanding about their religion before they move forward, and it will indirectly help you.
So, always be easy on your kids, and you will see how they progress fast and nicely.
Tell them about the teachings of Islam
Once they learn to offer their prayers and they start to recite Quran on a daily basis, tell them what the teachings of Islam are and what are the things that their religion teaches them.
Tell them the important parts of it that they need to follow in their everyday life. Tell them about the lessons that are given in Islam.
For example, tell your children that Islam asks us to respect everybody no matter what, it teaches us to be kind to everybody.
Tell them Islam asks us to follow cleanliness and it asks us to refrain from doing any kind of bad deeds and then tell them the difference between good and bad.
This way they will know more about Islam and they will also love their religion because of its beauty.
The final destination
Once you know that they are grown enough and by now they know all the basics, tell them about the last day and the hereafter.
Tell them how everyone who does good deeds is loved by Allah tala and everyone who is loved by Allah tala will go to heaven.
Then tell them the difference between heaven and hell. This way theh will be convinced to do good deeds and they will also have the curiosity to know more about heaven and hell.
Keep it slow and steady because kids that understand better learn better and those who learn better work better.
