Godzilla (Godzilla or Gojira), also known as Godzilla Toho's (Godzilla Corporation), monster series, is a Japanese animated media brand that is based on the fictional Kaiyu monster Godzilla. As a monster film it's the third in the Godzilla series, following Godzilla vs. Megatron and King Kong. With an impressive selection of voice actors the series has earned critical acclaim. Godzilla movies have earned over six billion dollars in box office revenue till date.


The plot of Godzilla films revolves around Godzilla, the Japanese city of Godzilla where an enormous volcanic explosion occurred which ultimately killed millions of residents and damaged the entire city. Godzilla was created out of an egg hatched from the explosion and has evolved into a powerful creature with nuclear powers. To protect his people, Godzilla builds a huge metal monster, known as the Godzilla Decks and sends thousands unknown military personnel to attack and detain Godzilla. A Japanese agent contacts an American scientist who is skilled in studying nuclear-powered creatures and creates a plan to defeat Godzilla.

Godzilla is shown as a child Godzilla (Masakado) living in an orphanage. One night, Godzilla attacks a small village and is killed. Godzilla is believed to have killed the victims of the Godzilla attacks. Godzilla returns to the city and causes massive destruction and the deaths of millions.

Godzilla is the king of all monsters in Japanese original film godzilla films. Godzilla is the king of the seas. His army is comprised of a variety of seafood and plant life. The sea dragon Godzilla (Hikaru Narasima) and five other gigantic creatures are capable of defeating the most powerful and intelligent humans. To take on Godzilla, Toho created a new character, Godzilla Arima, who is a half-fish, half-leather creature, who is similar to Godzilla in appearance. Arima's power and intelligence allowed him to defeat Godzilla directly and then to keep him in a massive net floating on the Pacific Ocean.

Godzilla (Masakado) wins the battle against Toho with the help of other massive creatures. However, Godzilla makes an escape from the destroyed Tokyo City. Godzilla along with his companions who were pursued by Arima, reach Shelter Island. There, Dr. Shiji and Narai were trying build a giant robot monster to take down Godzilla. When Godzilla arrived there, he attacked the humans and destroyed the majority of the village. Godzilla destroyed the facility, as well as the doctor. Dr. Shiji fled to Japan with his son, who died trying to save the villagers.

Godzilla returns to Earth two years later to cause even more destruction. He first attacks South America where a virus is spread , which turns hundreds of South American residents into zombies. Ray Ban, a special effects specialist, assists the US forces to put an entire military force on the island to defeat Godzilla. Yuichiro Nagashima, special effects supervisor, creates stunning special effects that complement the film's story and create the illusion that Godzilla has struck the city.

King Kong vs. Godzilla also includes a brief appearance by Godzilla. It also features an uncut scene. In this short film, Godzilla appears as a Kong-like monster, and appears to be fighting King Kong. Other characters are Mascot as well as Dr. Isaac Silverstone and Dr. Serling.
