Cricket fans around the world are anxiously waiting for the cricket extravaganza to watch their favorite cricketers in action.
This is going to be the seventh consecutive appearance of India in the ICC T20 World Cup 2021, and the team is hoping to repeat history by displaying some impressive pieces of cricket on the pitches of UAE and Oman.
Team India is also gearing up for the ICC T20 World Cup 2021, and the BCCI has displayed the India Jersey for the T20 world cup in a ceremony held recently. The Indian squad will be wearing the new kits and jerseys for the world cup as their official uniform featuring the sponsors’ logo on every player’s jersey.
India Jersey for the T20 world cup cricket team is designed in traditional light blue color with minor changes in the collars and shoulders design. The left side of the jersey features the official logo of Nike on it, while the right side of the chest showcases the National Flag of India on it.
The center of the T-shirt has the name and logo of Star Sports printed on it, while the bottom of the shirt highlights the name of the country. The backside of the shirt as usual displays the player’s name and number on it.
The right and left shoulder of the T-shirt showcase the names of sponsors of Team India, and the newly designed trousers have been given a fresh look by the manufacturer using the light blue color. The pics of new kits and jerseys of Team India for the world cup 2021 are doing the rounds of the internet, and cricket fans have started sharing them on their social media accounts. Most of the fans seem to love the new uniform of the Indian squad as it is reflected in their posts and memes.
The jersey for Team India will be launched by MPL Sports, the official kit sponsors of the Indian cricket team till December 2023. The newly designed jersey will replace the navy-blue retro jersey with blue, green, white, and red stripes, inspired by the 1992 World Cup kit. MPL Sports wanted to introduce a new jersey that is reflective of India’s team spirit, emotion, and energy at a time when most fans won’t be physically present in the UAE stadiums due to strict Covid19 safety protocols.
In addition to the jersey, MPL Sports will also launch a diverse range of new merchandise for fans to showcase their love for the team. The Indian team will step on the field wearing the newly designed jersey for the first time in their practice match against England on October 18. The jersey will then be worn by the Indian squad during their opening match against Pakistan on October 24.
