Since the introduction of the grand exchange, items can be exchanged without runescape gold difficulty, and can effectively be considered the exact same thing. For instance, suppose that (hypothetically) you need 100k cannonballs in order to slay, and can afford 200k, which is 250gp for each. Have you noticed anything similar? Do you think this is a gimmick created by Jagex to get people interested in crafting (or get the clockwork cats of their choice)? Or , if you do die with a clockwork pet following you, will your clockwork cat turn into one of the "stray cat" wandering around in that place for a few minutes instead of disappearing way other dropped objects do (but how often do people die within this GE)? (As an aside Do you have any idea that if there's a real cat that follows you, it'll be in disputes with stray dogs are passing by?)

Familiars have had their damage output increased before being nerfed after it was discovered titans were hitting too heavily on certain bosses. I'm not sure what it is now.
